Blue Mountains & Jenolan

Most of our tours heading west take advantage of some of the spectacular lookouts for a morning tea or lunch stop on the way through the Blue Mountains. However, we can also design a specific itinerary featuring the Blue Mountains area.

Things to do on this excursion

    • Your students can visit Scenic World for the thrill of riding the Scenic Railway and Cableway and then explore the rainforest and early coal mining history of the area.
    • Engage your students with interactive NPWS Discovery Rangers programs and activities learning about rainforests, the environment, sustainable tourism in a World Heritage area, Aboriginal history and culture and more
    • See the famous Three Sisters at Echo Point Lookout.
    • They will be able to better appreciate the incredible pioneer spirit of the early explorers when they see for themselves the sheer cliffs plunging hundreds of metres to the valleys below.
    • See the remains of convict-built roads and bridges.
    • The Waradah Aboriginal Centre allows students to enjoy an interactive educational experience by participating in programs that combine cultural talks with dance, music and art.
    • Add a visit to Jenolan Caves with guided cave tours, walks, spectacular scenery and even abseiling or caving activities for the more adventurous.
